Colleen Imbert: Assistant Vice President
Colleen joined I.E Shaffer & Co. in 2021 and currently manages several account relationships for the firm. Her responsibilities include service and operational management along with administration of benefit funds in accordance with agreements and plan documents adopted by the Trustees.
Since 2007, Colleen has exclusively dedicated her career to health and retirement benefits with focus in account management, benefit design, implementation and contract negotiation. Prior to her joining I.E. Shaffer & Co., she managed Taft Hartley clients for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield New Jersey in the Labor Sales & Service division and with UnitedHealthCare in the Medicare and Retirement Sales division.
Colleen holds a Bachelor’s degree from Pace University and a NJ Health and Life license. She is a licensed New Jersey Health and Life Producer, a member of the Society of Professional Benefit Administrators (SPBA) and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP). She is actively working to obtain her CEBS designation.
In her personal time, Colleen enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, creating craft cocktails, and design & restoration projects in her Civil War era home.
